Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli is a Partner with Sahel Capital, a private equity and advisory firm focused on the West African agribusiness sector. She is also Co-Founder of AACE Foods, an agroprocessing company. Following her early years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Nwuneli returned to Nigeria to fulfil her passion of promoting entrepreneurship and leadership development.
She served as the pioneer Executive Director of the FATE Foundation, and established LEAP Africa in 2002, a leading non-profit organization focused on leadership and ethics. Nwuneli has shaped agriculture, youth employment and entrepreneurship policy, strategy and management across West Africa and established numerous social ventures and non-profit organizations. She speaks widely on agribusiness, leadership, entrepreneurship, management, youth employment and ethics.
Nwuneli received a National Honour from the President of Nigeria and was recognized as one of 20 Young Powerful African Women by Forbes in 2011. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA (with Honours) in Multinational and Strategic Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
