Kola Masha is the Founder/Managing Director of Doreo Partners, an impact investing firm focused on the African agriculture sector. It provides effective strategic guidance, hands-on leadership, deep industry expertise and access to capital to assist investors and entrepreneurs develop market-leading companies.
Doreo Partners is raising a US$40 Million fund to invest in early stage ventures in the agricultural value chain, spanning from agricultural inputs, agricultural services, commercial production and agro processing. Its mission is to leverage the power of private investment in the agriculture sector to create a significant number of semi-skilled to low-skilled job opportunities. Some of the clients Doreo provides strategic advisory services to include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and HRH the Prince of Wales’ foundations.
Prior to founding Doreo, Kola was the MD/CEO of Notore Foods, where he raised US$24 Million to develop an integrated agricultural trading, production and processing business.
Kola has also worked at General Electric and holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
